The Körber foundation

“The task of the foundation is to help shape our social future.” Dr. Kurt A. Körber

Social development requires critical reflection. The Körber foundation has currently set itself challenges in the areas of demographic change, innovation and international understanding with its operational projects, in its networks and with cooperation partners. The three topics of “New Working Life”, “Digital Literacy”, and “Russia in Europe” are currently the focal point of its work.

Founded in 1959 by the entrepreneur Kurt A. Körber, the foundation now operates at a national and international level with its own projects and events. It is particularly closely connected to its home base in Hamburg and also has a location in Berlin.
