Flexible working hours Taking employee work-life balance and biorhythm into consideration

The work-life balance and biorhythm are only two reasons why working hours flexibly structured are becoming more and more important for many people. The desire to be able to manage their time schedules is especially important to employees in better managing their family lives and jobs. This could mean experiencing the first months with the new baby up close or accompanying a relative needing care to the doctor's office. When work start and end times are not set in stone, it then also benefits those employees who want to complete a course of study alongside their job or a hobby to balance their work.

Company health management The well-being and health of our employees is very important to us.

The working world is changing and with it, the demands on our employees. We at Körber Automation would thus like to support our employees in maintaining their health and personal well-being to better meet the challenges.

Besides the existing work and health protection activities, the back training courses, the large sports and relaxation opportunities at the Körber Automation Academy, we have initiated numerous further measures for our employees. We offer regular health and water activities days, periodic consulting hours by our company doctor as well as further courses in the area of health to our employees at almost all the sites. Furthermore, our employees can take part in stop smoking courses or receive support in healthy nutrition.

Körber Automation Academy The professional training of our employees is the basis of our success.

The Körber Automation Academy is the point of contact for our employees when it comes to training and continuing education matters. Thanks to the many internal instructors who have declared that they are willing to pass on their knowledge as well as external trainers, we are able to offer over 100 seminars and events. 

Besides seminars to promote personal, communicative and technical abilities, the current Körber Automation Academy program also offers the category "Sports at Körber" with courses such as badminton, football and back fitness courses.

The seminars may be attended during working hours in agreement with the supervisor. The offers at the Körber Automation Academy vary from site to site.

For our employees and our environment Social responsibility inside and outside our company

In employee newsletters, we regularly provide news about company operations, but also birth announcements of employees' children, weddings and birthdays.

We pay special attention to healthy and varied menus and a relaxing atmosphere at our company site cafeterias in Unna and Lahnau. We are also aware of our social responsibility outside of our company. We organize projects in schools and give young people the opportunity for their first experience with electronic circuits.
